Level II and Level III Enhanced Data
Visa leads in consistency and completeness of enhanced data, with more than 2.2 million merchants providing Level II data, more than 2.1 million providing Level III summary data, and more than 350 thousand merchants providing Level III line item detail.1
Through agreements with Marriott, Hilton, Choice, Prime Hospitality, OMNI, Millennium & Copthorne, Sonesta, and others, over 7,900 hotel properties in the U.S. and Canada provide folio data to Visa.
Additionally, Visa captures Level III data through five reservation systems for 95 percent of flights worldwide. Visa provides data for trips actually traveled as opposed to trips booked but not traveled.
More than 150,000 fuel locations provide enhanced fleet data.
